I went to Haymarket cafe a week ago on my visit to Edinburgh and I was so pleasantly surprised at how quaint yet vibrant cafe this was. Right opposite Haymarket station, they have one of the most interesting drinks on the menu, the Ube latte (they also had Ube hot chocolate) which was so delicious. Also the food options were pleasant and the portion sizes were hearty . It is a good place to start your day at especially if you have a busy day ahead!
Fantastic breakfast with tons of selections! We had the avocado and salmon toast as well as the quiche of the day with a side salad. We both had an iced Americano and I got a croissant to go. Everything was super tasty, the service was friendly and fast, and the location was perfect for us!
So lovely here! Couldn't reccomend more. Lovely ambiance, plenty of seating. The food was incredible, sweet (but not distressingly sweet) cakes. The purple yam cake was genuinely perfect . The lunch we had was fresh and well thought out. You can tell everyone here is proud of what they do and the decor is just adorable. Perfect for a treat! We walked in at 2pm and there was more than enough seating.
Excellent cafe! Lots of ube products which is a pleasant surprise and they’re dog friendly too! Definitely coming back
We visited for brunch before getting the train home. Service, attention to detail and food/drinks were on point! Highly recommend!
Just amazing. Me and my Friend had the bacon pancake and the mixedberries pancake for breakfast. Simply good and under 10 pounds for each pancake. Thank you !!!
Good delicious specialty taro cake and ice cream. And for Chinese, the taste is very fragrant. It won't feel very sweet and greasy. It's fantastic, and my American pancake with bacon is very crispy. In addition, the cafe menu in the store has a lot of special coffee drinks
Always had an ube cake for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised to see they had it in Edinburgh! The cake was super flavorful and delicious and not too sweet, paired with the iced latte it’s absolute perfection. My husband had the ube latte, pistachio almond tart which were also very tasty. Decor of the place is top class and the service IMPECCABLE! Walked 30 mins to get here and was not disappointed at all. Highly recommend!!
